All-night study sessions on college campuses may soon have a new addition: delivery robots. Starship Technologies has announced a plan this week to launch delivery robots this month at George Mason University and Northern Arizona University with the University of Pittsburgh and Purdue University following in September.

Fleets of 25 of these robots, which charge $1.99 per delivery, will be rolled out on campuses after the San Francisco startup raised $40 million in Series A funding.

With lowering operating costs and no need for breaks, these robots would reinvent the classic college pizza delivery. With the rise of delivery-oriented companies such as DoorDash, Amazon, and even Safeway, fully automated food delivery is undoubtedly the way of the future.
