It made them start Saatgutkonfetti which is a German start-up that has created biodegradable confetti, dyed with natural colours and containing a mix of 26 varieties of grass, herb and flower seeds making it eco-friendly and supporting of pollinators and other insects.

There are many benefits of adding flower, grass and herb seeds to the confetti. Both the flowers and grasses act as a home as well as a food source for various animals and insects. It helps preserve biodiversity in urban areas. And it gives citizens something beautiful to look at.
