Vuity is the name of a new eye drop that can improve your sight radically. You only need to drip one drop into each eye once a day. By doing so, your close-up vision is improved significantly, making you able to see three extra lines on the eye chart opticians use.
Vuity has just been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the US and a bottle that lasts a month will cost around 80 dollars in the store.
The drops work by causing eye muscles to contract the pupil, enabling the eye to focus better at short distances. Vuity is based on the same substance used to treat glaucoma, but in a different concentration.
The eyedrops are clearly more expensive in the long run than buying a pair of cheap reading glasses. But for those who are tired of constantly searching for their eyeglasses at the most inopportune of times, there is now at least an alternative. The effect holds up to six hours and in addition, the drops are not meant to affect distance vision.
