Yesterday I wrote about an interesting fact I recently learned: Over the past ten years, China has accounted for about 90 percent of the global increase in carbon dioxide emissions.

That means the rest of the world has begun to get control over, or even reduce, its COโ‚‚ emissions.

But we canโ€™t just pretend China doesnโ€™t exist. Even there, there is reason for hope. Perhaps emissions have already peaked in China as well, largely thanks to the countryโ€™s massive expansion of solar and wind power.

Thereโ€™s still a long way to go, and itโ€™s easy to lose hope, but thatโ€™s exactly why we should pay attention when milestones are reached. An important one is now within sight.
