The Rational Optimist published on Warp News

Matt Ridley with his book the Rational Optimist, as well as his TED talk, When ideas have sex, is a great source of inspiration for us.

In the Rational Optimist he explains what we call fact-based optimism. And in his TED talk he shows how it is ideas that drive humanity forward.

πŸ† Fact-based optimist of the Year 2020

Johan Kuylienstierna is chairman of the Swedish Climate Policy Council, professor at Stockholm University and worked for many years with water and climate issues in the United Nations.

He is a fact-based optimist in area crowded with pessimists. Like every fact-based optimist he acknowledges the big problem, but also sees the progress we are making to solve it Β - and that our opportunity to do that is bigger than ever.

Warp Space Summit on September 19

In Linkoping, Sweden, we are hosting Warp Space Summit on September 19.

We will focus on humanity's future in space. A future everyone who wants can be part of creating.

You can join live (hopefully, if vaccinations proceed as planned) or digitally. More info later.
