πŸ™ƒ The fact that I was wrong proves that I was right

My core message about generative AI is that it frees human creativity. I wrote that here on Warp News one month after ChatGPT was released – and I’ve been banging on about it ever since.

Despite that, I still managed to underestimate its power.

The real shift with generative AI is that we can use our ordinary human language to get the AI to do things.

Lovable has become the fastest-growing software startup in history by letting us build apps and websites simply by writing how we want them to look and function.

If Lovable’s founders had come to me before they launched, I would probably have understood the idea around apps – but told them to skip the website part. That’s a problem we’ve already solved, focus on apps, I would have said.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Being able to create beautiful, high-quality websites just by writing how you want them to look unleashes enormous amounts of pent-up creativity.

I write about this in this week’s article: πŸ’™ Don’t repeat my mistake – you really have to try Lovable
