Fascinating how AI is opening an entirely new window into the world of animals. We now see that cuttlefish talk with their arms, marmosets and elephants use names, and dolphins have an entire repertoire of whistles.
It feels like we are slowly beginning to crack the code of other species’ languages — and once we do, our relationship with animals could become much more intimate. Not just with pets, but with wild animals too, as we start to see them less as distant creatures of nature and more as beings with voices, experiences, and perspectives of their own.
